My toddler CJ tried the juice first. He's usually not picky with anything edible but he does have his preferred drinks...
I love trying new things, especially when they're free for me to do so. As a member of Smiley 360, I get to do just that.
I was selected to be a part of the Mott's for Tots mission. As a part of this mission I received a really cute reusable shopping tote bag, two full-value coupons to shop with at Target, and the Smiley Sharing guide.
Upon receiving my Smiley kit, I headed straight to Target because I was way overdue for a retail therapy session this week and of course there were a few other things I didn't know I needed to pick up. Found it pretty easily right next to the regular Mott's on the juice aisle. It was on sale, which is always a good, but I was even more excited because I had these coupons to get them for you guessed it, FREE! At the register the cashier added the cherry on top by scanning a coupon for me having my own bag. As much as I shop at Target, how did I not know this.
The kids were asleep when I got home from Target *cue happy dance* so I had to wait until the next day for them to try it. Like most mornings in the Wilder household, plans flew out the window in the rush of trying to get one kid to school on time without losing all sense of sanity.
My toddler CJ tried the juice first. He's usually not picky with anything edible but he does have his preferred drinks. I guess I got lucky in that department since if we let him choose between water and juice 9 times out of 10 he usually picks water. He was not impressed when he first tasted the Mott's for Tots apple juice. Not sure if it was because he was in one of his moods or if he really didn't like it, but he refused to drink anymore. Later after LD got home from school I let him try some and they both drank every bit of what I gave them. Typically if we want CJ to do something we usually have LD do it first or at least say we're going to have LD do it, then CJ will do it. I personally didn't like the taste.
Overall great concept, but not something I will buy.
What I like about this:
40% less sugar than 100% apple juice *according to the label*
Not much of a fan:
I can definitely taste that it has been mixed with water. I think this may be why CJ wasn't interested.
Try it for yourself though while you save 25% on Mott's for Tots
