One of the things that triggers panic attacks for me is clutter. It doesn't matter if the clutter is at home or in the vehicle, I see it and I damn near lose my mind. Unfortunately spending a lot of time on the road with the kids mean that on any given day there is a lot of random stuff everywhere. It drives me insane!
In our last vehicle I had backseat organizers that strapped on to the back of the driver and front passenger seats. These worked great for keeping all the small things the kids wanted every time we went for a ride. We got great use out of it, but everything that couldn't fit in those either got thrown on the floor or the trunk cargo space in our SUV. On any given day it's a hot mess.
I had been looking at different gadgets to organize the cargo space for quite a while. Finally after careful consideration of all the different things that get thrown in the back, I decided to try the seat back organizer. It could hold the things that I didn't want the kids to get too like cleaning supplies or small tools in case of emergency: antibacterial wipes, mosquito repellent, fishing supplies, and all the other random little things that just has to stay in the trunk.
When I first got the seat back organizer, the first thing I noticed was how easy it was to open. The instructions had a few simple steps and included pictures which I like because sometimes I just don't have the time to read through it all. The simpler the instructions, the better for my mom brain. The material felt firm and seems like it would be easy to clean and possibly waterproof which is always a plus for my family. Everything is click and go, just how I like it.
As simple as the seat back organizer is to set up, there is one thing I did find to be a little complicated. There is a strap that is supposed to go from top to bottom that the strap wasn't as easy to connect. I think it was intentionally left like that so that it could be adjustable for different types of back seats, but I ended up not fighting with it mostly because I didn't feel like removing the kids car seats to figure it out.
Even though I couldn't figure out the one strap, I still would recommend the seat back organizer to anyone with an SUV. It makes keeping the cargo space clean not such a chore.
